Over the last few days I've been seeing a lot of math blog aggregators.
First, was the
Math Teachers at Play #40 blog carnival over at
Math Mama Writes.
Second, was
Mathblogging.org - "your one stop shop for mathematical blogs."
Third, was the
Alltop math topic page - "the most topular stories."
Any other good aggregators out there?
Alltop didn't look very useful to me. Did you find anything exciting through it?
ReplyDeleteI don't know of any other aggregators, but I already follow so many good blogs using Google Reader, I never think about how I might find more good content. (What I want to know is how to automatically share my Google Reader list.)
I think the best way to find good math content is to spend a few days exploring, and then follow all the blogs that look good to you. I follow about 200 mathy blogs. (It doesn't usually take that long to read it all. While I was on vacation, I checked in about every other day, and it took about half an hour.)
3 ways to explore:
* Look through the Math Teachers at Play archives (here).
* Most of the blogs you already follow show a 'blogroll' of other bloggers they follow; check those out.
* Use mathblogging.org to find blogs you might want to follow.
Thanks for the pointers Sue - and for the great blog carnival.
